It was great to be able to welcome almost 200 people to Big Locals ‘Friday Fun Day’ on August 25th on the School field. Despite a seriously dodgy weather forecast everyone enjoyed 4 hours of music and fun – many taking advantage of the deckchairs to soak up the unexpected sunshine!
This annual event seems to get bigger every year with more stalls and activities available for people to enjoy free of charge.
We welcomed back Ste and his inflatables from 0151 Entertainment and Alldays mobile petting farm. Thanks also to Onward Homes, the WH Children’s Centre, Vibe UK, WH Litter Network and the Woodland Trust, St Bertelines Church, Snappers Amateur Photography group, Halton Borough Council, Halton Carers, Active Through Football and the Windmill Hill Events Network and their face painters for helping make it such a great day. Jackies Baps was also back to ensure no one went hungry.
Also a huge thank you to the School for letting us host the event on their school field and making available their caretaker to open up the toilets. Much appreciated.
