Hello, my name is Danny.
I am the new vicar at St. Bert’s. I was licensed at the end of September 2023. We as a family have now been living in Windmill Hill for about 6 months now. We are settling into the area and getting to know our ways round the expressways and busways!
I have started at St. Bert’s at a really exciting time with the completion of the new extension. The new entrance way floods the building with light and now gives excellent access to the building for the whole community. The new kitchen will allow us to cater for larger numbers and enable us to provide new facilities that were not possible in the old kitchen.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and attended our open day. It was a fantastic afternoon and it was great to meet and chat to so many people from our community.
It has been wonderful to restart and welcome back groups to the church. It is exciting to know that new groups will soon be using the church so keep an eye on our Facebook page for that information.
We as a church are also back in the building, you are all welcome to come and join us for services.
We have two services during the week; Wednesday 12.30pm – a mid-week Holy Communion service, a quieter more reflective service; Sunday 10am – Come and join us for family worship suitable for all ages. We spend time worshipping God, reading the bible and praying together.
