Wilder Things Bushcraft Day 4
Could you survive alone in the Wildnerness?
As part of the ‘Big 2 Weeks’ of events and activities, we welcome bushcraft guru Tim from Wilder Things to Windmill Hill. Wilder Things is about inspiring people to love their environment through learning bushcraft and survival skills! On Day 4 of the bushtucker trial, learn how to survive in the wilderness with exciting informative bushcraft skills that may one day save your life, or somebody else’s.

Let’s Fish – Fishing Sessions Day 2
Hosted by the Canal and Rivers Trust!
The Canal and Rivers Trust are running two days fishing sessions at Phoenix Park on Tuesday the 31st of July and again on Tuesday the 7th of August.
The Canal and Rivers Trust are bringing with them four trained coaches, each taking upto two people at a one time.

For All the Family!
Part of the Big 2 Weeks celebrations, the church grounds will be home to fun and games for the whole family to enjoy. The three hour event is free to enter, children and family members are free to wear fancy dress, it’s completely optional.

The Friday Funday Festival is an annual event held on Windmill Hill school field. This year we have a host of activities, including Minigolf (New), Gladiator Duelling (New), Professional Freestyle Footballers, Birds Of Prey, Futsal, Face Painting, Magic Tricks, Dog Show, Kids Archery, Cake Making and More!
There will be refreshments available and music playing at the ‘Triple F’, so come along, enjoy the festival of activities and hopefully the sun too!

The Citizens’ Advice Bureau drop in at Priory View community house is open to all Windmill Hill residents – call in to discuss any welfare, debt or related issues with Vanessa from Halton CAB – no appointment necessary.
Vanessa started her life at Citizens’ Advice as a volunteer adviser before successfully obtaining a paid position as a Financial Capability Worker. She has lots of experience in helping people to manage their money and to be super savvy with their shopping as well as checking people are getting all money they are entitled to!
