About
Starting at the car park entrance of the park and ending beside the canal near Lockgate West in Windmill Hill, take a stroll through the public space that is Pheonix Park. Contrary to what some people think, Pheonix Park is actually a part of the Windmill Hill Ward, it is however used and adored by many residents throughout the whole of Halton, such is the splendour of the the Green Flag awarded park.
The kid’s playground is divided into two areas, one for under 5’s and another for older children. Each area has an array of equipment to amuse the kids, with slides, climbing frames, seesaws, spring riders, merry-go-rounds and different swing sets. Beside the playground is the much-loved Urban Cafe, where kids can be treated to refreshments. Other areas of Pheonix Park include a picturesque reservoir, a climbing boulder, a bowl skatepark and a multi-sports zone.
